Funrural MP may lose effect after day 10, Famato alert

The Provisional Measure that extended the deadline for October 30, 2018 for rural producers to join Funrural’s Rural Tax Regularization Program (PRR), provided for in Law 13606/2018, is about to be voted on in the Federal Senate next Tuesday (09).

However, due to the electoral period, there is a risk of not having the session and, consequently, the MP will not be converted into law losing its effects after October 10, 2018, warns in a note the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato).

Faced with this scenario of uncertainty, the entity guides the rural producer who has not yet joined the PRR and who wants to join, protocol his request until Wednesday (10).

According to Famato, the adhesion guarantee is the STANDARD REQUIREMENT protocol provided in Normative Instruction No. 1,784 / 2018 – Annex I of the Federal Revenue, and the payment of 2.5% of the total debt, which may be split into two times. The producer must also attach the proof of the application for withdrawal of legal action or administrative challenge regarding Funrural.

According to the entity, in case of installment payment, the producer must issue DARF referring to the first installment 1.25% of the value of his debt and attach with the application. In addition, it is important that the producer issues the CND (Negative Debt Certificate) at the Federal Revenue Service / National Treasury Attorney General (PGFN) before deciding whether or not to join Funrural Refis. Without the CND it is not possible to access official credits.

The rural producer in debt who does not adhere to the PRR within the term will be considered to be in default. In addition, it will not be able to issue the CND and will be notified for payment of the total amount without any discount of interest and fines, and may still suffer tax enforcement.
