With the promulgation of the Law 20,608 / 13, the government of Minas Gerais can increase purchases of family agriculture products in 2018. The acquisitions will be made through the Family Agriculture Food Acquisition Policy (PAAFamiliar).
The State Government foresees an amount of up to R $ 10 million for the purchase of food in the secretariats and organs of direct administration. Thus, PAAFamiliar could have a volume of R $ 3 million, with the changes in the law. With the changes, state secretaries and agencies are forced to make almost a third of their purchases through the program.
