The regulation of the National Biofuels Policy (RenovaBio) is fundamental to give predictability and legal certainty to the production of biofuels in the country. This was what the deputy-federalist, Evandro Gussi (PV-SP) pointed out during the opening ceremony of Cana , Sugar and Ethanol 2018/19, made by Santander and DATAGRO Consultoria on Wednesday (14), in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
At the event, the President of the Republic Michel Temer signed the decree regulating the RenovaBio.

According to Gussi, RenovaBio will provide predictability and legal certainty to the biofuels production chain through market mechanisms that will reward energy and environmental efficiency. “It is not an initiative of a sectoral nature, but of benefit to the country,” said the deputy, author of the original bill, approved in the Chamber of Deputies in November 2017, which at the end of last year was sanctioned by law President Temer, and this Wednesday (14) regulated by decree.
