The Secretariat of Agriculture of Santa Catarina announced the investment of R $ 3.2 million to mitigate the effects of drought on state agriculture. The resources, which are part of the Water for the Field Program, will be passed on to distributors of water for the purchase of 190 equipments.
The Water for the Field Program has already invested more than R $ 12.4 million in financing for the construction of 317 cisterns of 500 thousand liters in Santa Catarina. Through the Program, rural producers had a 50% bonus of the amount financed if they chose to pay the payment in the first year.
