Preliminary data from the Agricultural Census will be released in July

According to information from the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA), the has already reached more than 5 million rural establishments across the country, covering an area of ​​more than 340 million hectares. 

According to the technical manager of the Agricultural Census, Antônio Florido, the data collection in which the census traversing the rural properties is practically closed. “By the end of April, we will return to the field to review some data and check the veracity of some information,” he said. 

Among the data that will be released are information on the characterization of producers, establishments, land use, irrigation, quantity of animals and quantity produced of the main agricultural products.
