Dominican Republic opens market for Brazilian chicken exports

The Dominican Republic issued a communiqué authorizing the shipment of poultry produced by Brazil, according to the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), based on information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA). The authorization was made by the Livestock and Animal Health Directorates of the Dominican Ministry of Agriculture, and extends to all Brazilian exporters.

“The opening of the Central American market is in good time at a time when exporters seek new opportunities to meet other market issues that are now on the agenda, while emphasizing the confidence of local authorities in the quality of chicken meat made in Brazil, “explains the ABPA chief executive, Francisco Turra.
