The House of Representatives approved last Wednesday (28), Provisional Measure 803/17, which extends from February 28 to April 30 the deadline for joining the Rural Tax Regularization Program (PRR), known as “Rural Refis “.

According to information from Agência Câmara de Notícias, Refis Rural allows the installment, with discounts, of debts of rural producers with a social contribution of 2.1% on gross revenue, popularly known as Funrural.
The producers claim that the term of the Refis law is short in order to gather all the documentation necessary for the renegotiation of the tax debts. The rapporteur also pointed out that the PRR regulation was only announced at the end of January by the Internal Revenue Service, which further reduced the time to join the program.
The MP must still return to the Senate to be voted on again.
