The European bloc is a major market for poultry in Santa Catarina and accounted for 15.2% of poultry exports in 2017. In the last year, 147.8 thousand tons of poultry products were destined to EU countries, generating a turnover of US $ 364, 9 million – BRF accounts for 30% of this total.
