The National Agency of Sanitary Surveillance (Anvisa) informs that as of this Thursday (22) all commercialization of agrotoxic Stop yourself should to be registered in computerized system. According to the agency, the purpose of the control is to guarantee the restrictions that Anvisa imposed on the product with the publication of resolution RDC 177/2017.
The system was proposed by the companies of the sector as a way to comply with the control requirement of Anvisa. The same tool had already been used to control the sale of another pesticide, the Acefato, which also suffered similar sanctions.
Anvisa, however, stresses that for the control to function properly, it is necessary that all entities of the agrochemical production chain adopt the new system. This includes agronomists, producers, traders, employers, service providers, and users.

In September 2017, after a long evaluation process, Anvisa opted for product ban from 2020. For those three years, a transition process has been established which defines specific cultures where the product can be used and made mandatory the signing of the term of responsibility and clarification of the risk of use of product.
