Resources in the order of R $ 200 billion for financing of financing, marketing and investments and reduction of three percentage points in interest rates. These are the main demands of the agricultural cooperatives in Paraná for the Agricultural and Livestock Plan (PAP) of the 2018/19 crop, highlights the “Informativo Ocepar”.

The petitions were sent to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MPLS) on March 12 through a document prepared by Ocepar, together with the State of Paraná Agriculture Federation (Faep) and the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab).
The volume of funds demanded by the entities of Paraná represents an increase of 6% in relation to the amount destined in the past harvest, of R $ 188.3 billion. The Paraenses suggest that of the total demanded, R $ 160 billion should be allocated to credits for funding and commercialization and R $ 40 billion for new investments.
