Elections 2018: Parliamentary Agriculture Front re-elects 97 deputies

After the first round of the 2018 elections, the Parliamentary Front of Agriculture (FPA) saw most of its members re-elected. Of the 179 deputies who disputed the suit, 97 guaranteed a vacancy in the House for the next year. In addition, seven deputies have gained a seat for the Senate.

On the other hand, the FPA lost more senators in this election. Of ten members seeking re-election, only two have achieved the feat: Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI) and Sérgio Petecão (PSD-AC). It is worth mentioning that some of them have resigned from the position to run for president, such as Álvaro Dias (Podemos) and Ana Amélia, who was a deputy in the campaign of the defeated Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB).
