With the development of new technologies and an integrated production model, Brazil will surpass, in the coming years, the current brand of about one billion people fed around the world due to Brazilian agribusiness. The statement is from the president of Embrapa, Mauricio Lopes, in an interview with the Government of Brazil portal.
“We are confident that with the technologies we are developing and disseminating, this ability of Brazil to expand this production in a safe, intelligent and sustainable way will be multiplied many times over the next decades,” Lopes said.
Lopes bets on the company’s new technologies and intelligent and sustainable solutions to sustain the growth of agribusiness production. According to him, Brazil is already a leader in the development of sustainable planting methods and seeks to integrate the production of different foods.
