Government to increase inspection of slaughterhouse

Blairo Maggi said that the inspection measure is a “compromise” made after the first phase of Operation Low Flesh, launched by the Federal Police in March last year. The intention is “to reduce or extinguish any possibility of political interference,” he explained, according to Agência Brasil.
