Production costs for pigs and broilers shoot up in March

The increases were mainly due to changes in the cost item “animal nutrition”. Feed expenses increased by 7.11% in relation to February in the case of pigs and 4.64% in broilers. In the year, only nutrition inflation already accumulates 10.83% for pigs and 8.69% for broilers.
