The inspections of public stocks carried out by technicians of the National Supply Company (Conab) were resumed this Monday (02) and will last until April 13, in the states of Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná , São Paulo and Tocantins. This is the second stage of a schedule of nine annual inspections, and the next one will take place from May 7 to 18.
The inspection will look at 74 public and privately owned warehouses located in these states and holding over one million tons of miscellaneous products and items owned by the federal government.
They are in the roll: rice, corn, beans, coffee, corn, wheat and sacarias of the Federal Government’s Option and Acquisition Agreement (AGF). In addition to these will also be part of the action benefited and manufactured products of basic baskets, which are stocked mainly in facilities located in the capitals.
The team is made up of specialized inspection technicians who will evaluate the storage conditions, the volume deposited for storage, the structure of the warehouse and other mandatory inspection measures of Conab.
In the previous stage, in February in the states of BA, DF, GO, MT, PR, RS and SC, there were 123 tons of losses. It was about 29 shades of Bahia and 95 shades of Goiás. According to the technicians of the area of inspection, the occurrence is a predictable process, being a natural effect typical of the storage.
