Sales of agricultural machinery fell 22.5% in February in the annual comparison

Sales of agricultural and road machinery in the domestic market reached 2,400 units in February, up 49.7% from January’s [1,600], according to the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea). On the other hand, in the annual comparison, there was a decrease of 22.5%. 

According to the entity, sales in the two months decreased by 30.2%, with four thousand units sold, compared to 5.7 thousand in the same period of 2017. 

In the first two months of the year, production reached 6,600 units, up 1.4% from the same period last year. In February, output was 3,900 units, down 10% year-on-year, but up 43.6% over January.

According to Anfavea, exports in the two months stood at 1.8 thousand units, growth of 50.6% compared to the same period of 2017.
