Agribusiness leaders gathered at the opening of the 17th edition of Tecnoshow Comigo, held this Monday in Rio Verde (GO), criticized the interest rates considered high for the financing lines dedicated to investments in the sector.
Antônio Chavaglia, the president of the Agroindustrial Cooperative of Rural Producers of Southwest Goiano (Antônio), stressed during a press conference how the rural producer has needed to find balance for its profitability, since new technologies are increasingly costly and investment capacity has declined.
He also pointed out that the producer needs to be aware of production costs and warned about bottlenecks for the sector, in addition to high interest rates, such as prices for machinery, fuel and storage deficits. The state governor, Jose Eliton, participated in the solemnity.
